LEBRON JAMES’S SON (BRONNY JAMES) – LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON?

The old saying that there is every propensity for some children to take after their parents seems to be coming into manifestation in the case of the 15 – year – old highly talented LeBron Raymone “Bronny” James Jr. This 6 ft. 2 inches tall basketball talent who was born on October 6, 2004 and presently attending Sierra Canyon high School in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, has been painting the basketball court red since the age of 9. In fact, at the age of 10 in February 2015, Bronny was confirmed to have received basketball scholarship offers from some colleges. But LeBron James was quoted to have expressed his strong disapproval of this seemingly deserved recognition though immature, by stating categorically that; “it should be a violation, you shouldn’t be recruiting 10 – year – old kids”.

But as a result of his talent and exploits on the court, Bronny according to the reports guided Old Trail School in Bath Township Summit County, Ohio, to an Independent School League tournament victory in February 2018 as a middle school student, while he also led the Gulf Coast Blue Chips AAU team to a fourth grade championship at the League Dallas/Hype Sports Summer Jam in June 2015. Further, it was reported that Bronny assisted North Coast Blue Chips to win a John Lucas all – Star Weekend title in Houston in March 2018. In addition, his undefeated Blue Chips it was recorded won the under – 13 championship at the NY2LA Swish ‘N Dish tournament in Wisconsin, on April 2nd, 2018. Bronny who was the youngest of the pack at the age of 14 joined AAU team Strive for Greatness – under 16 Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) in Indianapolis, in April, 2019. It is equally on records that on December 3rd, 2018, playing for the first time for Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California, Bronny scored 27 points in a 61 – 48 romping against Culver City Middle School.

This basketball prodigy known as Bronny James is currently in high school attending Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, where he’s been proving his mettles in great ways by for instance scoring 15 points on December 14th, 2019 and being named an MVP in a win against St. Vincent – St. Mary High School. Also, he was said to have scored “a seasoned – high” 17 points in a victory against Viewpoint School. Bronny currently averages 4.1 points 15 minutes per game as a freshman. Therefore, given the talent and exploits of this basketball wizkid, can we safely conclude that LeBron James has successfully reproduced himself? Or are we in for a greater basketball player than his dad (LeBron James Sr.) in the future?
